Sometimes we get so caught up in the stuff of life that we miss what God wants for us. The “TV snow” of life drowns out God’s direct signal to our spirits from His son Jesus. If we can just tune in the “TV of life” to the right channel we will see what God has on our channel—the perfect channel with the best shows that will be the best for our growth in Christ.
Romans 12:2(NLT) says, ” Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
God’s Will or his “channel” for us is a perfect channel for us. We are the ones that are not perfect. We have to continually tune into God’s channel for us everyday. When we are caught up on God’s show for us we will have an abundant peaceful life. Tune into God with reading his “TV Guide”—the Bible. And communicate with Him with prayer. He doesn’t need our communication to sustain Himself, but to sustain a healthy life we need His communication with us.
